Agricultural Systems and Technology Club

The Agricultural Systems and Technology Club is primarily for ASTM students, although it's open to all students who have an interest in technology. The purpose of the club is to learn about opportunities for careers and internships, assist in ag systems activities and have fun while doing so!

The U of A Agricultural Systems and Technology Club helps with local CDE contests, the Arkansas FFA State Agricultural Mechanics CDE contest and the AECT Lawn Mower Tune Up Fundraiser. Members have the opportunity to take trips to local businesses, the Tulsa Farm Show and the Midwest Farm Show to learn about agricultural technology.  In addition, the club sponsors a Robotics Team that competes at the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineer's Annual International Meeting each year.

Agricultural Robotics Student Team

The Agricultural Robotics Student Team is part of the Agricultural Systems and Technology Club, and it aims to build tabletop robotic platforms and prototypes for site-specific precision agriculture applications. The team focuses on building robotic platforms for the annual robotics competition held during the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers annual international meeting. Team activities provide hands-on experience with the latest sensors and controls technology with a goal in mind.
