Teacher professional identity is an area of research largely unexplored within agricultural education. The Agricultural Education, Communications and Technology department at the University of Arkansas leads the research in this area, creating the only instrument focused on identifying K-12 agriculture teachers.
Human Capital Development for the Agricultural Sciences
Donald Johnson, George Wardlow, Christopher Estepp
This research seeks to identify factors related to student selection of university agriculture majors and predictors of university agriculture student retention and graduation, and to evaluate the effects of various instructional practices on student academic achievement and perceptions in university agriculture courses.
University Faculty Teaching Methods
Christopher Estepp, William Doss
University faculty members are not required to have background or education in teaching and learning. Assisting faculty members in adopting data-driven practices enhances the learning experiences for all University of Arkansas students.
